Collimators - in any shape you need
To achieve the best possible results in the neutron research sector, it is necessary to collimate/parallelize the beam from the source. However, for optimal results, the collimation must be adapted to the sample. This is often a challenge for scientists, who are limited in design due to the possibilities in the manufacturing process of conventional collimators.
Additive manufacturing now makes it possible to bring the collimator to desired dimensions and geometries. With this technology, we have succeeded in producing the first prototypes as linear and radial collimators. With our experience, we will be happy to advise you on the feasibility of your project.
