About PANApp

PANApp (Precision Additive Neutron Application) is a company specialized in consulting for additive manufacturing with several years of experience in FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) 3D printing. With this method, complex geometries can be realized that would not be possible with conventional manufacturing processes or would be very time and cost intensive. The focus of PANApp is on precision parts that are used in the international research sector. Materials that are difficult to control are used here and require a great deal of expertise in order to meet the desired requirements. First successful experiments in neutron research could be realized with boron carbide and boron nitride components from PANApp.

The service includes the profiling for the software for the corresponding material. Through an extensive network of partners, the applications can be adapted and finally produced as required. Several systems are available with which different components (size, material, load capacity) can be produced.

Future projects with our partners include the development of radial collimators and customer-specific filaments. For this purpose, the requirements for the material of which the later component is made should be discussed beforehand. This filament will be commissioned and subsequently used for 3D printing. The advantage of this is the wide range of possible applications, as the material can be adapted to the product to be manufactured.

We write the software for your prototypes based on the application. Please note that the manufacturing process itself is also in our area of responsibility and therefore we are able to sell the components as a whole.

We also achieved our goal to produce our own filaments. Those are available in different loadings and components.
